Grain Calculator is a free Android application developed by Tim Sieberg, designed to help you calculate the amount of grain stored in a round bin quickly and accurately. This application supports corn, soybeans, wheat, oats, and barley, with measurements in inches, feet, or meters, and the resulting grain volume can be displayed in bushels or tonnes.

Using the formulas, pack factors, and shrink factors as defined by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Loss Adjustment Standards Handbooks, Grain Calculator automatically calculates the grain peak height and test weight, with grain moisture set to standard values based on the type of grain. However, you can adjust any of those factors to produce a more accurate result.

You can also save your measurements and results to your mobile device for later retrieval. Although the application is designed for the US market, it does its best to accommodate the metric system.
